Arm Fat And The Tricep Dip

You are most likely having a somewhat challenging time picking the best exercises to get rid of arm fat. I know because many women are in this same situation.

When did choosing arm exercises become so perplexing? After all, every single guru out there seems to have a different view as to which exercises are the best.

Now if the gurus have different opinions, how are you supposed to form an opinion? To make matter worse, some women will not even get going because of all the confusion.

But not all hope is lost. You see, I've already been there and done that. And I'm ready to share my conclusions.

Thus, here is my critique of the tricep dip to get rid of arm fat:

1. Snapshot: This is the single most recommended exercise for women that want toned arms. And the sad truth is that it's also one of the most dangerous.

2. Technique snapshot: Place both feet on the floor and your hands on a bench. Make sure your chest stays up while your abs are contracted. Lower your body by bending your arms at the elbow joint. Then push yourself back up in a controlled manner.

3. Common errors: Allowing the back to curl excessively. Jerking the torso upwards to gain momentum. Allowing the elbows to shift around. And not going through the entire range of motion.

4. Final word: The risk is not worth it. Do not do this exercise if you with to maintain the integrity of your shoulder joint. There are equally effective exercises that are not as risky as this one.

Getting rid of arm fat doesn't have to involve the risk of injury. So please do not do an exercise just because everyone else is doing it or because some trainer told you to do it. Always do your research before subjecting your body to any type of physical stress.
